What is collected

Nothing. Trackload has no account, no sign-up and no login. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no third-party SDKs of any kind. There is no server behind it, so there is nowhere for your training data to be sent.

Where your training lives

Everything you log — your sets, your weights, the program you are running and your app settings — is stored in a single file inside the app's own container on your iPhone. Other apps cannot read it.

iCloud

Optional, and off unless you turn it on. When it is on, that same file is copied into your own private iCloud container, so your history survives deleting the app and reaches your other devices. It goes to Apple, under your Apple Account. The developer has no access to it and no way to read it.

Health

Optional, and off unless you turn it on. With your permission, finished sessions are written to the Health app as strength training workouts, so they appear in Fitness alongside everything else you do.

Trackload also reads a small amount of data from Health — body mass, resting heart rate and date of birth — to work out heart rate zones and estimate a session's energy cost. That data is used in memory during a session only. It is never written to the file on your phone, never copied to iCloud, and never transmitted anywhere.

Bluetooth

Optional, and only used if you choose to connect one. Trackload can pair with a standard Bluetooth heart rate strap to show your heart rate during a session. The app remembers which strap you last used, so it can reconnect without asking again; that identifier is stored on your device and nowhere else. If you never connect a strap, the app never uses Bluetooth.

Children

Trackload collects no data from anyone, so it collects no data from children. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat and no user-generated content.

Deleting your data

Delete the app. With iCloud backup off, everything goes with it. With iCloud backup on, the copy in your iCloud container remains until you remove it, which you can do in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Inside the app, Settings → Erase everything clears the log without deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Trackload collects nothing today, and any change to that would come with a new version of the app and an updated App Store privacy label.
